So i get home and get a call from corny last night and i had forgotten about a surprise party for Stephen so i hurry over there just to be 5 minutes late for the surprise I get home around 9:45 I sit down and I hear something at the back door. I think it's ty getting home from work early. Next thing i know I hear someone knocking on my front door. i check my phone to see if anyone had called to tell me they were coming over. nothing. so this person keeps beating on my door. i call ty and keep him on the phone with me just in case anything happens. The reason i am alarmed is because if you were my friend or ty's you'd know we don't use the front door. just the back. so i flip on the porch light and sneak into ty's room to get a better look. don't know the guy. baggy jeans, baggy blck hoodie, white dude with brown hair. by this time he's pissed i'm not answering and keep yelling stuff at me, but i have no clue what he's saying. he's been yelling and beating on my door for about 4-5 minutes now. then i see him go down my stairs to the back of the house. I sprint to the back door, lock it and turn on the alarm. then sprint into my guest bedroom to peak at the back entry. We had just had a security/floodlight sensor installed a few days before, it was on when i was peaking which meant he'd been to the back already. i get off the phone with ty and thought the coast was clear. Thought he had just mistaken my house for someone else's. I hear the snow crunching outside my living room window, he's going back to the front door again. I lose it. I call the police. he is now beating the crap out of my door yelling, "I know you're in there!" "Let me in!" "Come on, we know each other." "Just open the door." I'm on the line with the operator giving my address and a discription of the guy and she stays on the line with me till he stops, i get off the line and a minute later the 5-0 are shining lights in my yard. I wait a bit then go out to talk to them and tell them what had happened. they tell me they've been keeping an eye on the house catty-corner to us because they suspect it's a meth lab... great!* he said they've been staking out the place quite abit lately because he's had a lot of activity over there, they were just waiting for a search warrant. He kept telling me he was proud of me and how smart i was... I think he saw this dumb blonde shaking like a leaf (because she was so scared)on her doorstep and thought i needed a little pep talk. ;) ... i did. they walk around some more. ty gets home with Wade. we're talking about everything. ty sees our phone is blinking so he answers it because it is so late. it's the house catty-corner to us. Asking why were taking pictures of their cars and why we wouldn't answer the door. here's what goes through my head: 1. How did they get our number? 2.Why are they asking about someone taking pictures? 3.How did someone get our number and we've only lived here since october... 4.Why are they so paranoid about their car getting snapped? 5. Didn't i take a picture on the street earlier? I did, but i was taking a pic of the moon. and it didn't turn out. so they're paranoid because we're gonna place cars at the scene of the crime or something. so i follow up and call the police and tell them what happened with phone call. the officer is a very nice man and he's sitting down the street keeping an eye on my house and that house. gives me his personal number to call him anytime with any leads or tips. :::::note::::: as i was typing this story i'm home alone again and i hear a knock on my door. I was scared spitless and my phone was in my room. then i hear it ringing so i made a dash for it and answered it. it's my hero officer Gabe and he was stopping my to check up on me and make sure nothing else happened. crazy night. soooooo if you're into to meth i know a place you can get some prolly. moral of the story, don't take pictures of the moon at night in your own shady neighborhood. you'll get wackos at your door.
